Warwic Spence

Warwic is a South African tennis player who was born and raised in Port Elizabeth. He comes from a family of tennis enthusiasts and has been playing the sport since a young age. In his final year at University, Warwic was selected for the SA University team and went on to represent his country at the World Student Games in Izmir, Turkey. Warwic currently applies his trade at Rivonia Recreation Club in Johannesburg, where he has won a record number of club championships in singles, doubles and mixed events. He is an active member of the South African Seniors tour and has represented his country at the World Masters Championships in Miami and Lisbon. Warwic believes that tennis has helped shape his character and taught him valuable life lessons. He continues to play at a high level and recently won the Top Guns National Club Championships in Sun City with Rivonia Recreation Club in April 2023.
