The 22-year-old flyhalf from East London‚ who was schooled at Hudson Park and Grey High School in Port Elizabeth‚ has been snapped up by the Sevens system and he is very grateful. Lubs proudly holds the following rugby accolades;  Lubs represented South Africa in the following teams: SA Schools A’ (2016), u20 Junior Springboks (2018), BlitzBoks (2022).  At provincial level Lubs excelled in the following teams: Cheetahs u19(2017), Cheetahs u21(2018-2019), Cheetahs Supersport Challenge(2019), UFS Shimlas Varsity Cup(2018-2019), Bronze medalist in the Junior Rugby World Cup 2018.
