INE-MARI VENTER

NETBALL

South African netball player that previously participated in the Suncorp Super Netball league, representing both Melbourne Vixens in 2019 and Queensland Firebirds in 2020. Venter was spotted by Melbourne Vixens coach Simone McKinnis whilst representing South Africa at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games and was signed by the Vixens later that year for the 2019 season. Venter has made three appearances for the Vixens before being signed to the Queensland Firebirds ahead of the 2020 season. After seven appearances with Queensland Firebirds, Venter decided to take her professional career over to the Vitality Netball Super League in England to play for Saracens Mavericks, where Venter has stayed for the past 2 seasons. Venter has also represented South Africa at multiple levels, starting with appearances at a u/19 level as early as 2014 and has been playing for the Spar Proteas since 2017.
